Every once in a while I would find a new hero on Favrd. A new character who used the weird medium that is 140 characters in their own, personal way. Some of the jokes I’ve used in my comedy act have sprung out of a tweet I read on Favrd.
However weird and silly Favrd was, it made me serious about my Twitter account. I wanted to be as funny as the people on the list who made me laugh out loud every day (literally) sitting alone by my laptop. I cut down on the crap talk, @-replies and link hysteria and concentrated my efforts on original funny - or not funny - bits. The point is I began to really try.
Lately I haven’t used the site so much. I’ve found myself full of stuff to digest, I guess. But I’m still going to miss the old webcock logo and the (seemingly unreachable) goal to be Favrd.
