This album is my most listened to in 2009. And still it took me several months — maybe half a year — to notice what any of the songs are about. I tend to automatically only listen to the melodies and compositions and completely ignore the lyrics until someone or -thing makes me aware of them.
This is somewhat sad and I know it, but I’ve come to accept that’s just how I do it. I (apparently) don’t care how the artist is feeling.
